StudioKing SK-OS1 optical snoot The SK-OS1 from StudioKing is an optical snoot which projects light from a flash or led light onto the background of your photos and videos. You can choose from five different colours and ten different shapes. This way it is possible to create creative photos with which the light contributes in a special way to the atmosphere of your recordings. From about 1.2 metres the SK-OS1 produces a sharp reflection. At a distance of 2.5 meters (from lamp to surface) the SK-OS1 produces a projection of about 2.2 meters. Application Standard a Bowens/Linkstar adapter ring is supplied with the SK-OS1. With this ring you can attach the optical snoot to your lamp. You then choose a Gobo shape and color filter and place them in the holders at the front of the SK-OS1. To get the result in focus on the wall, adjust the knob on top of the SK-OS1. This shifts the lens inside which takes care of the projection. The metal construction makes it possible to use the SK-OS1 reliably in any location. To see the color and shape well in daylight, we recommend the use of a flash lamp of at least 600 Ws. The light is emitted at an angle of about 20 degrees. SK-OS1 Use with other brands By default you can connect the SK-OS1 to a lamp with Bowens/Linkstar connection. The adapter ring is interchangeable, so you can also use the SK-OS1 with other brands of flash units. For this there are separate adapter rings available, which you can find at the optional accessories.
